A "soaring soprano soloist" (Boston Classical Review), Gina Marie Falk is a Boston-based singer specializing in the performance of early and contemporary chamber music.
Gina Marie regularly joins Emmanuel Music in their weekly Bach Cantata Series and yearly concert programs, and collaborates with pianist Clémentine Dubost to bring French art song to the Upper Valley. Other recent credits include a residency at the Portland Bach Experience and premiering works of emerging composers as a member of Nightingale Vocal Ensemble.
Performing and touring imaginative programs with The Pandora Consort, Gina Marie and colleagues Kendra Comstock and Angie Tyler are champions of music by Hildegard von Bingen. The trio’s creative concert programs combine underrepresented early music with multimedia. Pandora has been featured by organizations and series such as Pegasus Early Music/New York State Baroque, Salon avec moi, Otter Creek Music Festival, Vermont Public Classical, SoHIP Boston, the Saint James World & Early Music Series, King’s Chapel Concert Series, Gotham Early Music Series (GEMS), In-Situ Polyculture, and Epsilon Spires’ GRRLS TO THE FRONT, and in publications such as the New York Times and the Boston Globe.
Her enduring love for collaborating with composers leads Gina Marie to premiere their works in both chamber and solo settings; most recently with Nightingale Vocal Ensemble, Emmanuel Music, and John Secunde. Gina Marie and John’s project, Saint Boneface, fuses indie aesthetics with classical repertoire. An active member of the band DREAMGLOW, Gina Marie is privileged to explore the boundaries between classical and popular genres in intimate venues.
Gina Marie received an MM in Vocal Performance from the Longy School of Music and a BM in Vocal Performance from East Carolina University. In addition to performing, Gina Marie teaches French language and diction courses to undergraduate and graduate students at the Longy School of Music and New England Conservatory.
